INDUSTRIAL SINGLE-POINT BATTERY WATERING SYSTEMS

Battery Maintenance Doesn’t Have to Be Slow, Dirty and Dangerous

For decades, battery maintenance has been a slow, inefficient and potentially dangerous business. And still today, many industrial sites and thousands of golf courses are using manual watering methods that typically take 20 to 30 minutes to fill each battery.

See for yourself why distribution centers, factories and golf courses are turning to the smarter and safer approach to battery maintenance.

Take the Hassle Out of Battery Maintenance

Battery Filling Systems offers a full line of products and services, including:

  • Single-point watering systems - a complete line, designed to work with every industrial and golf car battery.

  • Water Delivery systems - gravity or direct fill, customizable to your maintenance requirements.

  • Water purification systems and accessories - to extend the life of your batteries.

  • Training and support - from our experienced technicians and engineers.

basic kit has all of the components needed to assemble the system on a battery. Each kit includes an instruction sheet with assembly recommendations.

Direct Fill Link

The  direct fill link (part# DF710S) is a compact version of the water delivery gun.
A one-piece on/off valve replaces the trigger nozzle of the gun.
The link also comes with the quick connector.

Delivery Gun

The  delivery gun (part# G1000S) is a robust filling gun with a built-in flow indicator and pressure regulator.
The gun attaches directly to a standard hose via a quick connector, making changeovers from manual to automatic systems a snap.

5 Gallon Tank

The 5 gallon gravity feed tank (part# NT2000G) comes complete with connector, flow indicator, and shut off valve.
This is an ideal system for filling only a few batteries at a time.

The gravity feed tank must be elevated by at least 5 feet to properly fill the battery.
The shelf (part# S2000T) is a steel, powder coated frame that holds the gravity feed tank securely and can be mounted at the proper level.

2 1/2 Gallon Tank

The 2 1/2 gallon gravity feed tank (part# NT2212G) is a smaller version of the 5 gallon tank and is popular for golf applications.
It also comes complete with connector, flow indicator, and shut off valve. It is an ideal system for filling only a few batteries at a time.

The gravity feed tank must be elevated by at least 5 feet to properly fill the battery.
The Shelf (part# S2000T) is a steel, powder coated frame that holds the gravity feed tank securely and can be mounted at the proper level.

Aqua Sub Cart

The Aqua Sub Carts (part# C5000P and C5250P) are DC powered. They are tough and reliable with a rugged steel construction to ensure a trouble free system.
Features include:

Powder coated frame

Heavy duty industrial wheels

Automatic shut off demand style pump

Charger included

Built-in pressure regulator

Female connector included

Two sizes to choose from - 15 or 25 gallon tanks

Operation and Maintenance

Filtration
The supply water should be filtered to ensure proper long-term operation. Experience has shown that municipal water supplies typically contain unacceptable amounts of particles and debris. A 20-micron (or finer) filter is recommended. NOTE: This is in addition to the auxiliary 100-micron bfs filter pre-packed with the system.

Fill Time
The filling system should only be connected long enough for the cells to fill (usually 1 to 3 minutes). When the flow indicator stops spinning, or nearly stops, the cells are full and the quick-disconnect coupler should be disconnected. CAUTION: The plugs continue to drop a very small amount of water even when the floats are up and overfilling could result if the supply line is left connected. Automatic systems, wherein supply water is controlled by a timer, should be adjusted to fill for 1 minute.

Float Clearance
Adequate clearance (T1), is required for proper action.

Water Quality
Use only water that meets the requirements of the individual battery manufactures instructions.

Number Of Cells In Series
The tubing layout on the battery should not put more than 9 cells in series.
